On the North Coast
of Spain, Bilbao BBK Live Festival takes over the picturesque town for 3 days,
from the 12th of July. The festival will play host to some of the
best acts in Indie and Rock, including Keane, Band of Skulls, The View, The Cure,
Radiohead, Snow Patrol, Tribes, Enter Shikari, The Kooks, Noah & The Whale,
Bloc Party, Mumford & Sons, Snow Patrol and Young Guns!
Bilbao has three
main stages and is home to over 40,000 festival-goers every year, with doors
opening at 4pm, and closing at 3am!
With tickets being
just £88 for the whole weekend, it’s a cheaper kind of Reading and Leeds, with
many attendees coming from overseas. Cheap airlines like Easyjet fly directly
to Bilbao, and there’re public buses from the airport to the town where the
festival is held. BBK’s organisers offer travel packages that can be found on
their website.
