Forum, with its intimate 220 capacity, was named Britain’s Best Small Venue by NME
magazine, in association with JD Roots
after a nationwide poll. The magazine is also giving away 50 pairs of tickets
to the gig, and entrants have until just the 25th of May to be in
with a chance. More information can also be found in this week’s issue of NME magazine, which hits stands
tomorrow.
Indie-Rockers the Cribs are also set to pay tribute to
the small venue and supporting local or up-and-coming music. The band will play
Wakefield's Theatre Royal on the 16th
of May, with The Horrors and Twin Atlantic
