Dundee-born
band the View are set to headline
the Peak District Festival on Friday the 3rd of August. Y-Not runs from the 3rd of
August until the 5th, and this year’s line-up boasts the likes of The Wombats, We Are Scientists, The Pigeon
Detectives, King Charles, Little Comets and Frankie and the Heartstrings.
Now in its 7th year, Y-Not has gained a Gloustershire sister
festival, 2000Trees, which propels
underground and new acts into the British lime-light, including the Futureheads, Dry The River, Sharks and Lower Than Atlantis. The festival takes
place from the 12th to the 14th of July and all tickets
are sold out!
Y-Not
Festival is made up of new, up-and-coming and well established acts, 5,000
keen music fans, but attempts to retain an intimate and friendly atmosphere.
Improvements this year include a brand new arena, bigger line-up and tickets
are priced at £75 for the whole weekend.
